Day 48

This is a blog about everyday life in this COVID-19 lockdown world.

A single mum of a 16year old who spends most of his time wrapped up like a mummy in his batcave! Only popping out to graze his way through the food in the fridge and freezer.

I've just been made redundant so job hunting has begun in earnest, however, there isn't a lot out there at the moment.  Seriously considering retraining, we shall see what happens there.

We've found that although we have loads of time on our hands, motivation has run off to another planet.  Just doing the washing up is a mammoth effort, let alone anything that really takes any effort.

Over the last 48 days, the anxiety has crept up  with days when I shake so badly I feel like I'm doing the highland fling! So draining. Chocolate and a good natter with a pal usually sorts that out, either that or some medication.

There has been some creativity with a lot more to come I hope.

Yesterday saw the kitchen becoming the 'potting shed' (we have no garden).  I managed to sow seeds and feel so chuffed that I've finally done that.  Sweet Pea flowers, Mint, Sage, Coriander, Corn flowers and cress.
